What Do You Do?
When people ask me what I do, I always have a hard time trying to fit it all into a concise answer. I do video production, editing, podcasting, blogging, website design and development and that is only for work! I also do ballroom dancing, play guitar, archery, biking and the list goes on…
Why Do You Do It?
My passion is creating things and teaching. While pursuing these passions I have found that filmmaking and training have allowed me to use my passions to their fullest potential. Growing up I was taught that one of the best ways to learn something is to teach it. So naturally when I was learning filmmaking, lighting, composition, and film concepts, I would turn around and share that information with fellow aspiring filmmakers. This form of learning inspired me to start the Home Film School Student blog. A place to share information and learn from other people. My hope for this blog is to create a knowledgeable community willing to share from experience and help bring up the next generation of storytellers.
